About the class

Ashtanga is a fixed series of dynamic yoga poses that has a reputation for being challenging and it can be daunting to step into a regular class where everyone seems to know what they are doing. In reality it can be a lovely flowing practice that is open to beginners.

This introduction to ashtanga will help to make ashtanga more accessible and hopefully show it can be fun. During the course we will discuss the poses and the intentions, introduce the breath and give you the confidence to join a regular ashtanga class.

Bring a yoga mat, your water bottle and wear warm layers that you can move freely in.

These courses are kindly led by our newly-qualified teachers. You get to learn yoga, they get to find their feet as teachers.
